Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Kate Forsell, NP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the Doctoral of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner program at Augsburg University. After working in health care for the last 13 years, she has identified critical gaps in healthcare and is unwavering in her commitment to ensuring her patients do not experience them. She is devoted to providing whole-person-centered care. With a passion for mental health, she strives to incorporate a holistic approach to addressing the entirety of the patient. As a dedicated health provider, Kate meets patients where they are at to help them along their individualized healing journey, honoring the uniqueness of everyone that she serves.
Kate aims to enhance mental health and quality of life by understanding and addressing specific individual needs. Understanding that there are many barriers including mental, physical, spiritual, and social factors that all contribute to the overall health and wellness of a person. Kate recognizes the significance of evidence-based practice and collaboration to develop a personalized treatment plan. A safe space is essential for patients to be able to fully express themselves, that’s why she prioritizes empathy, kindness, and transparency.
