Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner | Medication Management | Integrative Mental Health Care
Dr. Marquitta Braih is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides compassionate, individualized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. Her work is rooted in a collaborative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach, with an emphasis on whole-person healing—not just symptom reduction. Dr. Braih believes meaningful progress happens when clients feel seen, heard, and supported through a relationship grounded in trust, clarity, and partnership.
Her passion for psychiatry began early in life after witnessing a close family member’s journey with schizophrenia. That experience shaped her deep empathy for individuals and families navigating complex mental health concerns and strengthened her commitment to providing care that is accessible, stigma-free, and deeply human.
Dr. Braih’s clinical interests include trauma, ADHD, and women’s mental health, with additional focus in addiction medicine and a functional, integrative approach to psychiatric care. She supports clients in understanding the “why” behind their symptoms while developing practical, sustainable treatment plans that align with each person’s values, needs, and goals.
The most rewarding part of her work is walking alongside clients as they rediscover their strengths, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and fulfilling.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Braih enjoys morning walks with her Corgi and starting the day with a perfectly brewed espresso—small rituals that help her stay grounded and present, both personally and professionally.
