At Transformational Therapy Services, we provide in-depth ADHD and neurodivergence testing in Rockford, MN, with telehealth assessment services available throughout Minnesota. Our evaluations are designed to understand the whole person—not just symptoms on a checklist.
We specialize in complex, high-masking presentations, individuals assigned female at birth, and adults who are discovering later in life that they may be neurodivergent.
Who We Assess
Our comprehensive assessments are appropriate for individuals ages 12 and older, including:
- Adolescents and adults seeking ADHD testing
- Individuals questioning Autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent identities
- High-achieving or high-masking individuals who have been overlooked
- People assigned female at birth (AFAB), including those navigating perimenopause or menopause
- Adults experiencing burnout, overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, or executive functioning challenges
- Individuals seeking diagnostic clarity for treatment, accommodations, or self-understanding
Many of our clients come to us saying:
“I’ve always felt different, but I didn’t know why.”
“I’ve been successful, but everything feels harder than it should.”
“I think I’ve been masking my whole life.”
Our Assessment Philosophy
- Time
- Context
- Multiple data sources
- Clinical judgment—not just algorithms
Our goal is not simply to label, but to understand your developmental history, nervous system, strengths, challenges, and lived experience.
Our Comprehensive ADHD & Neurodivergence Assessment Process
Step 1: Intake, Screenings & Background Information
Clients begin by completing:
- Detailed clinical questionnaires
- Validated screening tools
- Developmental and psychosocial history forms
This allows us to understand patterns over time—not just current symptoms.
Step 2: In-Depth Diagnostic Interview
You will meet with a clinician for a comprehensive diagnostic assessment session, focused on:
- Developmental history (childhood through adulthood)
- School, work, and relational experiences
- Executive functioning, emotional regulation, sensory processing
- Trauma, mood, anxiety, and medical factors
- Masking, coping strategies, and compensatory skills
This session is essential for understanding high-masking and later-diagnosed presentations, especially in AFAB individuals.
Step 3: Targeted Psychological Testing & Collateral Data
- MMPI
- Additional validated ADHD, Autism, and mental health measures
- Collateral information (when appropriate and consented)
This helps us determine what needs further assessment and rule conditions in or out thoughtfully.
Step 4: Second Assessment Session
In the second assessment session, we administer:
- A focused battery of validated diagnostic measures
- Tools tailored specifically to your presentation
In most cases, a final diagnosis can be provided at the end of this session.
Step 5: Additional Session (When Needed)
Some complex cases benefit from a third session to:
- Clarify overlapping conditions
- Address trauma, mood, or anxiety factors
- Ensure diagnostic accuracy
We prioritize getting it right, not rushing the process.
