Emily Jarecki
Chronic Pain, Healing from Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, and Mental Health Practitioner for Teens and Adults
Emily is passionate about building relationships and believes a strong, trusting relationship between client and therapist is key to healing. She is open, warm, and loves to use humor in her work with others. Emily’s approach is person-centered, and she enjoys using narrative therapy and motivational interviewing.
Emily has a special interest working with preteens and teens going through phase-of-life issues such as divorce, separation, substance use, self esteem, and helping those who are either questioning or seeking to affirm their sexuality and gender identity. She also has a special interest in adults with addiction/substance use issues, and those seeking to heal from domestic abuse. She understands how chronic illness impacts daily life and has the life experience to support others suffering from this.
Outside of therapy, Emily enjoys singing and playing music, and going to see her favorite bands play live around the Twin Cities. She is also a proud cat mom.
