Ann (She/Her) is empathetic and deeply committed to supporting individuals through their unique therapeutic journeys. A graduate student at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Ann also works as a traveling STEM educator, engaging with students and educators throughout the Twin Cities. This role has given her extensive experience working with various ages, especially teens, enriching her understanding of adolescent development and the diverse challenges they face.
Ann is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where everyone can fully express themselves, especially those from marginalized backgrounds. She aims to provide a supportive environment where clients can take up as much space as they need. She strives to dispel mental health stigma within culturally diverse communities. Her therapeutic approach incorporates narrative therapy, mindfulness, and internal family systems frameworks, fostering a collaborative relationship built on empathy and understanding.
A primary focus in her work is addressing issues related to life transitions, anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, LGBT+ issues, and multiculturalism. She is dedicated to honoring and exploring each client’s intersectional identities. Ann brings genuine curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to lifelong learning into her practice, striving to empower clients and support their personal growth and healing throughout the therapeutic process.
