About Us – Our History
Founded in 2022, Transformational Therapy Services emerged out of the desire to provide excellent, holistic care to persons experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma responses. Our practitioners have specialized expertise in serving the LGBTQIA+ community, persons who struggle with addiction and mental health, and those navigating grief and loss. We want everyone who previously may not have had a place to share their struggles to know that there is a place where they can come to be seen and heard, and to navigate their sense of health and belonging in the world.
“I wish I had someone who talked to me about the intersection of addiction, trauma, relationships, and mental health the way they did before – I really think that would have been able to enter recovery earlier. It changed the way I saw myself, and it helped to make recovery make sense.”Former Client
About Us – Our Values
We build trust by honoring the lived experiences of the people we serve. We strive to see with the eyes of another, to hear with the ears of another, and to feel with the heart of another to understand and validate our team and those we serve.
Healing happens here, and all are welcome to participate. Through our practices and partnerships, we lead the way towards holistic and inclusive mental healthcare for all. We value cultural humility and maintain an openness to ideas that are different from our own.
We do the next right thing. Always. We strive to meet people where they are at while honoring and celebrating how the intersections of various identities influence our lives. We appreciate the expertise our participants have in these conversations and we encourage them to see themselves as leaders in their healing.
We hold hope for others until they can feel it for themselves. We know that change is possible, and through unconditional positive regard for our clients we help them to illuminate all options available to them.
We seek to be a trusted partner in the community by offering a wide variety of services to meet present needs, and by offering training and support to the community to bring awareness and reduce stigma in conversations relating to addiction, mental health, the LGBTQIA+ population, and more.
We have clear and open communication as a team and with our clients. We are honest, we do not shy away from difficult decisions, and we lead with mutual admiration and respect. Our programming is up-to-date, non-judgemental, adaptable, and inclusive.
